Camp Dakota's large cabin tents are a great way to camp in style!  Get back to nature without the hassle of setting up your own tent or sleeping on the hard ground.  These 16' X 20'  canvas tents are designed to withstand the wet Oregon weather and keep you high an dry.  Each tent has three sets of bunks beds inside with a total of 3 queen and 3 twin sized mattresses. (Sleeps 9)  The tents are set up off the ground on a wood deck and have a 16' X 12" deck outside.  Outside on the deck we provide a propane BBQ with a side burner for you to cook on. (Bring your own cookware)

Camp Dakota has a total of 6 of these large cabin tents.  We also have one small 10 ' X 12' cabin tent that sleeps 4 people on 2 queen mattresses on one large bunk bed.

CABIN TENT FAQ

Q.  Do I need to bring bedding?

A. Yes.  Each mattress has a plastic cover however you will need to bring sleeping bags or bedding with you. 
 

Q. Is there electricity inside the cabin tents?

A. No.  The canvas fabric is opaque (lets light in) so during the day time there is usually plenty of ambient lighting inside the tent.  We do provide battery powered LED nightlights inside but we recommend that you bring flashlights and/or lanterns for supplemental lighting at night. 
 

Q.  Do you allow pets?

A.  Yes.  Camp Dakota allow pets but we require all pets to remain on a leash. Each pet must be registered with the office, and there is a fee of $5/pet/night. Also be aware that you will be held financially responsible for any damages to the fabric of the tent should your pet like to chew or scratch.
 

Q.  Are the cabin tents heated?   

A.  Our cabin tents are not heated.  We recommend that you bring extra blankets and extra layers of clothes if you are temperature sensitive or if you are unaccustomed to tent camping in the outdoors.  You may bring a propane heater but it must be approved for indoor use.  Here is a link to an indoor approved propane heater option.  
 

Q.  May I set up a tent outside for additional guests?

A.  Each of our Cabin Tents has room for at least one tent outside.  Some sites have more room than others.  Review the site details below to determine which cabin tent will work the best for you.

Site #29 - Large Cabin Tent  This is a 16' X 20' Canvas wall tent on wooden deck with 16' X 12" outside deck.  Sleeps up to 9 people on bunk beds with 3 queen / 3 twin plastic covered mattresses.  No electricity or heat provided.  No bedding provided - bring sleeping bags or bedding.  Comes with battery operated LED lighting inside, outside picnic table and fire ring.  Comes with propane BBQ on deck outside.  (1st tank of propane provided)  Parking is 40' / 32' Max length RV. Tent area is 15' X 15'. Maximum occupancy is 12 people.   2 parking passes provided with rental.  $7 per night for additional parking passes.   Available for rent April through September.  

 

Site #30 - Large Cabin Tent

This is a 16' X 20' Canvas wall tent on wooden deck with 16' X 12" outside deck.  Sleeps up to 9 people on bunk beds with 3 queen / 3 twin plastic covered mattresses.  No electricity or heat provided.  No bedding provided - bring sleeping bags or bedding.  Comes with battery operated LED lighting inside, outside picnic table and fire ring.  Comes with propane BBQ on deck outside.  (1st tank of propane provided)  Parking is 20'x 20' (very short) Tent sites are two (2) 12'x12' pads. 12 people MAXIMUM occupancy. (No room for RV parking.) 2 Parking passes included with rental.  Additional parking pass = $7 per night per vehicle.

 

Site #31 - Large Cabin Tent 

This is a 16' X 20' Canvas wall tent on wooden deck with 16' X 12" outside deck.  Sleeps up to 9 people on bunk beds with 3 queen / 3 twin plastic covered mattresses.  No electricity or heat provided.  No bedding provided - bring sleeping bags or bedding.  Comes with battery operated LED lighting inside, outside picnic table and fire ring.  Comes with propane BBQ on deck outside.  (1st tank of propane provided)

Total parking length is 45'   Total tent pad size is 10'x14'.   Parking for one RV up to 35' long.   MAXIMUM occupancy is 12 people.  2 Parking passes included with rental.  Additional parking pass = $7 per night.

16' X 20' Canvas wall tent on wooden deck with 16' X 12" outside deck.  Sleeps up to 9 people on bunk beds with 3 queen / 3 twin plastic covered mattresses.  No electricity or heat provided.  No bedding provided - bring sleeping bags or bedding.  Comes with battery operated LED lighting inside, outside picnic table and fire ring.  Comes with propane BBQ on deck outside.  (1st tank of propane provided)   Parking are is 50' long X 12' wide.   2 parking passes provided with rental.  $7 per night for additional parking passes.  Available for rent April through September. 

 

Site #50 - Small Cabin Tent

This is a 10' X 12' canvas wall tent with a wooden frame, wooden door, and a wooden deck. This bungalow tent comes with a bunk-bed style wooden bunk with queen sized sleeping areas. Plastic covered mattresses are provided. Also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and 10' X 10' area for a tent.  Parking is very limited at this sites at 25' long  X 10' wide.  One parking pass provided with rental.  $7 per night for additional parking passes.   All vehicles must remain parked at site and must not block roadways.  Available for rent April through September.
