Position Descriptions:
Adventure Guide (full and part-time)
Position Summary:
This position works directly with the public as a zip line guide, challenge course guide, and rock climbing wall guide. Adventure guides will also be required to help with various manual labor chores such as splitting firewood, delivering firewood, cleaning yurts/campsites, and cleaning toilets. All necessary training will be provided by Camp Dakota.
Physical Requirements:
Adventure guides must be in excellent physical health to successfully meet the qualifications of this position. Must be able to lift their body weight using only their arms. Must demonstrate the ability to comfortably work at heights in excess of 50 feet. Must be able to bend lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of an 8 -10 hour shift.
Employment Duration: March 1 - November 1 2024
Required Working Hours: Qualified applicants must be available to work weekends beginning March through mid-June; then full or part-time mid-June - Labor Day; and then weekends Labor Day - November 1

Ground Support Guide (full and part-time)
Position Summary:
These positions work directly with the public as paintball referees, archery range masters, tomahawk range masters, and will assist the Adventure Guides with pre-flight harnessing for rock climbing, challenge courses, zip lines, and assist with various manual labor chores such as splitting firewood, delivering firewood, cleaning yurts/campsites, and cleaning toilets. All necessary training will be provided by Camp Dakota.
Physical Requirements
Ground Support Guides must be in good physical condition. Must be able to bend lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of an 8 -10 hour shift.

Customer Service / Cashier (full and part-time)
Position summary:
This position works directly with the public as a receptionist, cashier, and reservation specialist. Other duties will included making pizza, cleaning and re-stocking shelves, cleaning yurts, and general custodial work. Must use communication skills to engage and react with each guest to ensure that each guest receives an exceptional experience. Must be good with multi-tasking and keeping calm in a stressful environment.
Physical requirements:

Cleaning Crew / General Laborer (full and part-time)
This person is responsible for cleaning yurts/cabin tents, campsites, toilets, showers, cutting firewood, and various menial chores. Qualified applicants must be detail oriented and be able to work independently. Cleaning crew / general laborers must be in good physical condition. Must be able to bend lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of an 8 -10 hour shift.

Hiring Bonus Details

The Hiring Bonus is based upon hours worked and successful completion of the season. The minimum bonus is $500 for those who successfully meet attendance requirements. The more hours worked, the greater your bonus will be!
